We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic with expertise in maintaining and repairing Shovels, Excavators, and Bulldozers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy machinery mechanics, hydraulics, and troubleshooting techniques. This position involves both on-site and shop-based work, ensuring our fleet is operating at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on Shovels, Excavators, and Bulldozers.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to minimize downtime.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Collaborate with other team members and provide mentorship to junior technicians.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with hands-on experience in Shovels, Excavators, and Bulldozers.
Strong knowledge of heavy machinery systems, including hydraulics, engines, and electrical systems.
Certification or relevant training in heavy equipment repair is an asset.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
