2. JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing heavy machinery and air conditioning systems used in Al Awalia's operations.

3. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

4. KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational:

Adherence to quality, health & Safety, Information security and business continuity policies. Perform routine and emergency repairs on heavy equipment and A/C systems. Conduct inspections, diagnose issues, and test equipment for proper functionality. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations. Provide technical expertise and troubleshoot complex issues. Maintain records of maintenance activities and prepare reports. Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts, coordinate with procurement. Identify process improvements and participate in training. Perform any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the role as assigned by the line manager as per business requirements.

7. PROFILE: QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Diploma in any relevant discipline is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of similar experience is preferred. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot & repair electrical & AC issues on heavy equipment. Good command of English language.

Functional Competencies:

Wide knowledge and skills in repairing different kinds of Air-Conditioning and Heating System Good knowledge of trouble shooting Wide knowledge in package and split and window type AC installation. Good knowledge of electrical spare parts and equipment Good knowledge of advanced tools such as computerized test equipment, welding torches and hydraulic and refilling equipment Good manual dexterity, including the ability to make precise finger movements and the ability to keep their arms and hands steady Good understanding of Qatar and GCC business environment
