Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

Responsible for transporting raw materials or finished goods from one location to another.
Abiding the kingdom’s traffic laws, standards and accident procedures.
Ensure safe loading and unloading of cargo.
Ensure that the cargo or load is well protected by placing the applicable protective items such as belts, lashing chains, trapal etc.
Inspect trucks and record any incidents and accidents to the dispatcher.
Ensure the cleanliness of the truck.
Follow the preventive maintenance procedures for the truck and its attachments such as dumper, flatbed or lowbed.
Maintain a positive attitude to the customer.
Ensure that the required trips by the company are met within stipulated time.

Other Responsibilities:

To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
To attend safety trainings planned for them.
Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
