Job Description

Safely operate heavy and medium vehicles (trucks, buses, trailers, pickups, etc.) in compliance with Qatar traffic laws and company safety regulations. Transport workers, equipment, materials, or goods to and from sites, camps, warehouses, and client locations as instructed. Perform daily vehicle inspections (tires, brakes, lights, oil, water, fuel, air systems) and report any defects or maintenance issues immediately. Keep assigned vehicles clean and in good operating condition at all times. Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials, confirming safe weight limits and secure fastening to prevent damage or accidents. Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, delivery notes, and mileage reports. Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules efficiently to avoid delays. Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental procedures at all work sites. Handle cargo with care and ensure all deliveries are completed correctly and on time. Assist site teams when required (basic loading, unloading, or positioning materials). Obey instructions from supervisors, transport supervisors, or site managers. Immediately report traffic violations, accidents, or near-miss incidents to management. Ensure all vehicle documents (registration, insurance, permits) remain valid and are available during inspections. Maintain professional behavior and courteous communication with clients, co-workers, and the public. Comply with company rules, camp regulations, and working hours policies at all times.
