Reports to: Assistant Operations Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary: The Health & Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe, hygienic, and compliant working

environment across all F&B operations. This role involves implementing health and safety policies, conducting

inspections, monitoring compliance with legal regulations and internal SOPs, and providing training to staff. The

officer supports management in risk assessments, incident reporting, and continuous improvement of safety

standards to protect employees, customers, and the business.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and hygiene policies in line with local regulations and
company SOPs

Conduct regular inspections and audits of F&B outlets to ensure compliance with safety standards. Identify potential hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend corrective actions. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, maintaining proper documentation and reporting to
management.

Deliver training programs to staff on safety procedures, emergency protocols, and hygiene standards. Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper maintenance of safety
equipment.

Coordinate with management to ensure compliance with food safety, fire safety, and occupational health
regulations.

Maintain records of inspections, incidents, safety reports, and training activities. Recommend process improvements to reduce risks and enhance overall workplace safety. Support internal and external audits related to health and safety compliance.
Other Responsibilities:

Participate in cross-functional safety and operational projects as required. Support management in emergency preparedness, drills, and crisis management planning. Assist in the development and updating of safety manuals, SOPs, and guidelines. Stay updated on local health and safety regulations and best practices, recommending changes as needed. Provide guidance and support to staff on daily safety and hygiene practices. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive safety and incident information.
