We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide exceptional care to patients in their homes as part of our healthcare services. The role involves assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care to patients.
Assist with mobility, transferring, and positioning of patients.
Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
Administer medication as per the care plan and under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
Support patients with meal feeding and ensuring adequate hydration.
Report any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse or doctor.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Adhere to health and safety standards and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
Education:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Certification in healthcare assistance is preferred.
Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a home healthcare setting.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients.
Languages:
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
