Develop, implement, and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures on site.
Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations, local authority requirements, and company standards.
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to staff, subcontractors, and site teams on safe work practices.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports with recommendations for prevention.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety performance.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to promote a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum
5 years of experience
in health and safety roles within construction projects, with proven exposure to
high-rise buildings
.
Certification in NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of UAE safety laws, regulations, and international safety standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
Ability to relocate, transfer, or move to
Ras Al Khaimah
for the project duration.
