Health and Safety Officer
to join our team for an upcoming project in Ras Al Khaimah.Key Responsibilities:
Implement, monitor, and improve the project's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors. Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures. Maintain up-to-date HSE records and documentation. Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure safety compliance at all times.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field. NEBOSH/IOSH certification or equivalent is mandatory. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HSE Officer, preferably within consultancy firms or high-rise construction projects in the UAE. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
