About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer

to strengthen our project teams in Dubai. This role is critical to ensuring the highest safety and environmental standards across our construction sites.

Your Responsibilities

Oversee and implement the project's HSE Management System (HSEMS). Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks. Lead investigations into incidents and recommend preventive measures. Ensure workers comply with PPE and company safety protocols. Maintain updated safety documentation, reports, and records. Deliver inductions and training sessions to staff and site workers. Develop risk assessments and HSE plans tailored to each project. Promote a proactive safety culture in coordination with project managers. Monitor site hygiene, welfare facilities, and overall compliance. Submit monthly performance reports and maintain regulatory documentation.

Qualifications & Certifications Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

NEBOSH IGC (mandatory)*.
IOSH Managing Safely. ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 certifications. COSHH Risk Assessor training. Behavioral-Based Safety (BBS) certification. Fire Safety & First Aid credentials.

What We're Looking For

Minimum

5+ years of HSE experience in UAE construction projects

(essential). Hands-on exposure to

high-rise or villa projects

. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulatory frameworks. DDA approval (Dubai Development Authority) considered an advantage. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
