Enforce the implementation of approved safety procedures, policies, and programs.
Deliver safety induction and toolbox talks to site workers and subcontractors.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective action.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and audits.
Liaise with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and external auditors to promote a safety culture.
Ensure that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and used appropriately.
Display and maintain required safety signage and documentation at the site.
Assist in the development and review of project-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
Ensure emergency response plans are in place and conduct regular drills.
Stay up to date with local HSE legislation and industry best practices.
