Job Description

Responsibilities:-

1- Obtaining Right of Way Permits:

Submission of applications for Right of Way Permits (ROWPs) to the RTA and other relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with their regulations and guidelines. Liaising with government agencies, RTA departments, and other stakeholders to obtain the necessary permits for Road closures/diversions and other related approvals.

Permit Coordination and Follow-up:

Monitoring the status of permit applications and follow up with authorities to ensure timely approvals and resolving any issues or delays. Coordinating between internal teams, contractors, and RTA representatives to facilitate permit approval processes.

Compliance with RTA Standards and Regulations:

Ensure compliance with RTAs safety standards, guidelines, and legal requirements. Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures. Conduct site visits and assessments to verify that the activities are within approved parameters and aligned with permit requirements. Implement and maintain road diversions as needed.

Risk Management and Safety Compliance:

Conduct risk assessments related to road safety and infrastructure development. Prepare risk assessments and method statements for work activities, ensuring adherence by site personnel. Maintain records of HSE meetings and ensure that routine HSE meetings and toolbox talks are carried out, actions recorded, as stipulated in the HSE procedures. Identify potential safety hazards and implement mitigation measures in accordance with RTA safety regulations. Ensure proper maintenance and availability of equipment and machineries.

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience in road safety, infrastructure implementation , or a related field in the UAE. NEBOSH Certificate. Experience in Road Maintenance Projects under Dubai RTA projects. Successful completion of the RTA/Consultant interview. Valid UAE driving license.
