Head - Sustainability

The strategy group maps out where we're going, what that means, and what it looks like. Our Research team analyses the industry so that we're never playing catch-up. Design translates strategies into award winning products and experiences. In Program Management, it's more about the delivery of our strategies into realized benefits. And our Corporate Planning team creates strategy so that we're agile enough to respond in a fast-evolving industry.

What you'll deliver

You'll be responsible for driving Dubai Airports' environmental performance globally and ensuring local compliance at Dubai International and Al Maktoum International Airports. You'll develop and integrate a comprehensive environmental sustainability strategy aligned with Dubai Airports' vision, aviation regulators, and Dubai Government objectives. You'll lead three functional teams focused on establishing and delivering a world-class environmental framework that supports public health, passenger well-being, and environmental training standards. You'll oversee collaboration with key stakeholders, government bodies, and regulatory authorities to maintain and improve environmental performance standards and KPIs across airport operations. Develop and implement climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies for both current airport operations and future infrastructure projects. And champion employee awareness initiatives focused on environmental health and sustainability priorities across the organization.

What you bring

You'll be educated to a master's Level degree with a specialization in Environmental studies, Engineering or related. You'll have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, Compliance, Environmental & Public Health Training, Risk and hazard management, stakeholder management, Continuous improvement. You'll have a strong understanding of financial modeling, capital investment, Management of Change, Sustainability management, budgeting, research skills, Standard project management methodologies such as PMI or PRINCE 2 is required.
