General Description:
This position is part of an international team located in Dubai and the candidate assumes responsibility for the effective management of MEA tenders as well as the design and execution of client logistics solutions.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
This position is part of an international team located in Dubai and the candidate assumes responsibility for the effective management of MEA tenders as well as the design and execution of client logistics solutions.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Assume responsibility for effective regional tender management and RFQ processes.
- Acting as MEA representative in global tender management network & proactively follow up on global tenders and opportunities for MEA.
- Drive coordination, execution, and submission of agreed multi-country RFQs in alignment with relevant stakeholders and within agreed time frame.
- Timely update of Tenders events and milestones in the system.
- Work closely with pricing and operations of the relevant business units and business fields.
- Develop and enable reports to bring visibility of tenders influencing MEA region.
- High focus on Solution Thinking - develop integrated solution designs and innovative solutions in the for Regional Tenders to meet customer requirements and create differentiation.
- Cooperate with customers, account management, business units and IT team to conceptualize, design & deliver advanced visibility and e-solutions for clients.
- Act as \xe2\x80\x98Knowledge Hub\xe2\x80\x99 for customer solutions, company best practices, presentations.
- Support business process re-engineering of clients with a focus on optimization & improvements.
- Leads internal collaboration of teams and/or stakeholders across the Sales Organization, leveraging a broad range of cross-functional skills and perspectives to bring innovative solutions.
- Drive Continuous improvement of process and efficiency.
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelors\xe2\x80\x99 Degree or equivalent degree required.
- At least 7-8 years in supply chain, mainly in the international logistics / transportation field, preferably with good understanding of Key Account management and business development exposure.
- Proven record of successful solution design & implementation with multinational companies.
- Detailed knowledge of logistic services (Ocean, Air and Contract Logistics) and understanding of supply chain management in specific industry segments
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
- Customer oriented attitude.
- High sense of interdisciplinary collaboration and ability to align different stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to take helicopter view to see the bigger picture.
- Strong knowledge and prior hands-on experience in MS Excel and MS-Power point.
- Knowledge and use of Power BI an added advantage.
- Knowledge and use of any process flow design software an added advantage.
