Our client, a top tier government entity is looking for a Head of Strategy within the utilities sector in UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the company\'s long-term strategic plan, including setting clear objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and milestones. Align the strategy with the company\'s vision and mission.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of the utilities industry in the Middle East, identify market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities. Provide insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of strategy consultants, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality work. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate strategic risks. Develop contingency plans and strategies to address unforeseen challenges.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish a robust performance management framework to track progress against strategic goals. Regularly report on the status of initiatives to senior management.
• Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets effectively to support the execution of strategic plans and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in management consulting, with a focus on strategy development and implementation.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering successful strategic projects in the Middle East region.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of the utilities industry and Middle East market dynamics is a plus.
• Strategic mindset with a forward-thinking approach to business.
