We have a fantastic opportunity within one of our major programmes for a Head of Safety in Design to develop and deliver the programme Safety in Design strategic plan and objectives.

This is an opportunity to work on the most iconic project, influencing colleagues to drive and deliver world class integration of Safety in Design on this mega project. You will champion the use of innovative processes and technology for hazard identification, risk management and safe-by-design methodology. You will identify and advocate industry best practices and principles, developing clear Safety in Design Arrangements/Procedures for the programme. A fantastic opportunity to utilise your leadership skills to manage the Safety in Design Team and work closely with all Heads of Safety and Wellbeing and their teams.

Qualifications

Here's What You'll Need:

• Experience in delivering safety in design programmes with relevant project experience on large or complex projects in design and construction or operations/ maintenance phases.
• Expert knowledge of Health & Safety design legislation regulations & associated practices & procedures.
• Proven leader of programme / project HSW, Safety in Design or Engineering teams.
• High level of knowledge and experience of design process, health & safety and construction practices.
• Highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite & other related software applications required.
• Experience of working with BIM and digital platforms.
• Very competent communicator both written, verbal and in presentations.
