Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced

Head of Quality Assurance & Control

to lead and oversee all quality management activities in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably within aluminum or metal industries. The role involves developing quality strategies, managing the QA/QC team, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement departmental quality strategies, yearly business plans, and monthly operational plans. Analyze departmental KPIs to identify opportunities for cost reduction, energy efficiency, and asset performance optimization. Lead root cause analysis for defects, rejections, and customer complaints, implementing measures to minimize recurrence. Develop, train, and motivate QA/QC team members to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. Oversee quality assurance, quality control, calibration methods, and proper utilization of testing machines, equipment, and facilities. Ensure conformity of quality management systems within the area of responsibility. Provide test certificates in accordance with customer requirements or industry standards. Partner with Production and HR teams for hiring, performance evaluation, and development of QA/QC personnel. Conduct regular quality audits and emergency response actions to critical quality issues. Develop or revise standard operational and work practices to align with best available methods and technology. Enhance health and safety practices and procedures in coordination with relevant teams.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years' hands-on experience as QA/QC Head in industrial/manufacturing settings. Strong knowledge of ISO standards and certifications; experience in lean management or Six Sigma is a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and decision-making independently. IT / Computer literacy, preferably with Oracle or ERP systems. Positive, collaborative, and open-minded attitude with ability to drive cultural change. Ability to think strategically and respond proactively in dynamic environments.
