We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Head of Projects to lead and oversee interior fit- out projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands- on experience in managing high-end commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential interior fit-out projects. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of interior fit-out projects, from initiation to handover.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans.
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure compliance with design and contractual requirements.
Manage site operations, ensuring health & safety standards are maintained.
Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
Oversee subcontractor performance, material approvals, and quality assurance procedures.
Facilitate regular site meetings with all stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Implement and enforce project management best practices and procedures.
Provide strategic leadership and mentoring to junior project managers and site teams.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing interior fit-out projects (commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential sectors).
Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, materials, and finishes.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Exceptional leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of Auto Cad, Sketch Up, or other design/drafting software is a plus.
In-depth understanding of local building codes, health and safety regulations, and contract administration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred due to the nature of client interactions and coordination with local authorities.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
