?TGRC is excited to partner a rapidly expanding renewable energy and distributed energy platform operating across the Gulf region, focused on distributed C&I solar. The company has recently been acquired by a leading global infrastructure fund and is now scaling operations, regional platform capabilities, governance, and investment activities across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and neighboring markets in the GCC, with a diversified portfolio spanning early-stage development to operating assets.
The Head of Projects will oversee the engineering, construction, commissioning, and delivery of C&I and distributed solar including rooftops, carports and ground-mount projects across the UAE.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery Leadership
Manage full EPC lifecycle: scheduling, budgeting, design reviews, contractor oversight, commissioning, testing, and handover.
Implement governance frameworks for safety, quality, risk, and performance monitoring.
Technical & Engineering Oversight
Approve technical specifications, design packages, and engineering deliverables.
Oversee engineering consultants and technical advisors.
Risk & Stakeholder Management
Identify project risks, mitigation plans, and contractor performance strategies.
Engage with utilities, regulators, permitting authorities, and landowners.
Team & Vendor Management
Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary project delivery team.
Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Expectations
12-20 years in ground mounted solar project delivery with utility scale experience preferred.
Deep understanding of EPC contracts, engineering standards, and construction practices including local regulations and compliance with DEWA's requirements.
Fluency in English is a must, Arabic is a plus.
