Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting Offshore Program Director to manage and direct Offshore Maintain Potential Program (OMPP), working with Wood Al Hejailan for Saudi Aramco project, in the Al Khobar office in Saudi Arabia. The Offshore Program Director is responsible for the execution of all projects within the OMPP contract meeting Wood contractual obligations and clients' needs and expectations. The Program Director will ensure that all members of the project teams are committed and aware of their responsibilities for total quality of the delivery.

Mentor and guide Project managers, Engineers to ensure planned activities and deliverables are executed in accordance with the project execution plan and applicable standards in all stages of the project. Monitor progress of the Project Deliverables in accordance with the approved schedule. Identifying potential problems with same and making mitigating recommendations. Maintain and build healthy client relationships throughout the project and post completion. Proactively resolve performance, scope, cost and schedule issues with the Client as they arise. Manage and monitor project performance on an ongoing basis to identify issues and opportunities early and take pre-emptive action. Routine monitoring of the key reports and development of corrective action plans. Assume full accountability of all phases of the project and be prepared to apply the technical expertise and professional experience to achieve the desired results. Lead and supervise the design, procurement and turnover activities for the assigned projects. Negotiates changes to project scope with the Client. Pursues and develop opportunities for innovation, such as digitalization and technology use to bring value to Wood and Client. Responsible for the project HSSE leadership, ensures a program of initiatives and auditing schedule are established, and that HSSE and quality management issues are proactively addressed. Promoting the capturing and implementation of lessons learned on Projects Passionately and visibly pursues and supports, demonstrates and embeds company values. Entrepreneurial approach - ability to identify and pursue opportunities to add value to client and Wood Skills / Qualifications

Must have strong knowledge of offshore and experience of Studies / Pre-FEED / FEED projects. Ideally a mix of greenfield and brownfield experience. Fabrication / Construction experience would be beneficial Must have thorough knowledge of engineering design development, construction practices, economic principles, international codes, standards, procedures and specifications Strong financial and commercial understanding of projects Ideally >25 years of relevant experience required BSc Engineering Degree or equivalent Fully conversant with Wood Project Governance system and process Proven experience in the management of engineering and procurement projects . Proven record of project planning and execution management in coordination with in-house teams, vendors and third parties to ensure full compliance with all project requirements Able to lead others in a challenging environment Able to make decisions and drive decision processes Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills Well-developed management and administrative skills Works within a team to establish direction, alignment and commitment Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities.
