The Head of Operations will be responsible for leading and optimizing business operations, ensuring smooth execution of strategic initiatives, and driving efficiency across all departments. This role requires a hands-on leader with experience in fintech, payments, or digital commerce, who can manage cross-functional teams and implement best-in-class operational frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
- Oversee payment processing operations, merchant services, and transaction security to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including customer support, compliance, risk management, and supply chain.
- Work closely with the technology, sales, and product teams to align operational workflows with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with UAE fintech regulations, data security standards (PCI DSS, GDPR), and risk mitigation policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, payment processors, and key business partners.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reports to track operational performance and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Lead disaster recovery, fraud prevention, and business continuity planning.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
- 10+ years of experience in operations, fintech, payment processing, or digital commerce.
- Proven leadership experience in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of payment gateways, merchant acquiring, and digital banking.
- Experience with risk management, compliance, and regulatory frameworks in fintech.
- Expertise in process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or related field.
- Experience in UAE fintech ecosystem and knowledge of local regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with AI-driven analytics and emerging payment technologies.
