MOVE | HEAD OF NUTRITION | POSITION SUMMARY Reports directly to the General Manager and Deputy General Manager. Works closely with Executive Chef, Move Manager, and Seek & Choose Manager to ensure accuracy in delivering personalized meal plans, supplement formulation, and assess our members' health needs. Head of Nutrition (HON) is primarily responsible for creating programs that will support members' achievements, which reflect The Bridge Tracks' products and services in the process. Turns scientific information into innovative language when providing product usage guidelines and explaining the benefits of every ingredient. Supports in overcoming potential limiting beliefs by demonstrating extensive knowledge on the quality and effectiveness of recommended ingredients/products and their combinations. Has an analytical mind that can use own reasoning to spot weaknesses as well as strengths while interpreting scientific studies. This intends to highlight the most critical areas of responsibility only and does not cover all aspects of the position. | KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Provides technical assistance with menu planning through the development of meals, menu cycles, and nutrient-dense.
Formulates and selects dietary supplements for TB Members. Incorporates TB supplements with plant-based ingredients/plants over pills.
Supports to enhance the food experience by suggesting clean food that is consistent with the Taste vision.
Understands and implements functional knowledge in the food, food system, supplements, and diet.
Suggests healthier organic products to existing menu ingredients and establishes collaboration with suppliers as well as farmers on needed requirements.
Communicates in an ethical, honest, and culturally sensitive manner while providing group and/or individual counseling.
Ensures that nutrition values on recipes are accurate based on ingredients information.
Manages and leads the implementation of wellness and nutrition programming.
| MONITORING & EVALUATION
Collects, analyses, interprets, plans, and presents nutrition data using assessment methods and tools.
Conducts surveys to identify needs and recommends suitable nutritional plans.
Evaluates critically the scientific literature, any other sources used in research to make judgments and further recommendations.
Manages on-going assessment across Tracks nutritional best practices, guidelines, educational projects, and policies.
Applies and demonstrates holistic solutions in relation to nutrition science.
| ADMINISTRATION
Sources organic ingredients and supports with the documentation needed regarding claims.
Gathers and updates data of Members and inserts it into the system. Builds up the required database.
Maintains records of services and submits relevant reports.
Cooperates with direct superior and reports on the administration and arising operational issues.
Supports and participates in audits being carried out by Move Manager.
| INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CUSTOMER SERVICE
Ascertains a high degree of anticipation and maintains a Net Promoter Score as well as promotes a professional image to the internal and external Members.
Provides a clear and concise description of services, products, facilities, and Tracks to recommend an appropriate follow-up plan.
Supports in increasing awareness of TB App, and continually suggests enrollment to potential new members.
Anticipates the needs of TB Members | Teams and maintains positive relationships by providing the necessary guidance.
Performs any reasonable task required that might be outside the job scope in the spirit of collaboration.
| SUSTAINED LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
Contributes to the development of a gamified app, shares broad, innovative, and high-level concepts.
Recognizes own limitations to the nutrition professions scope of values and practice to be part of an active learning environment.
Translates scientific concepts to safe and simple messages to the Bridge Members | Teams also, in the form of quizzes.
Develops content materials, educational messages, and education strategies for internal and external communication.
Ensures technical assistance on social marketing and supports The Bridge campaigns.
Remains up to date with nutrition governance, behavioral, and sociocultural factors.
Conducts communication briefings on a monthly, weekly, or daily basis to the Team.
Assists in training sessions and supports employees during the onboarding period.
Maximizes self-development opportunities to upgrade his/her knowledge and skills by actively participating in TB internal and external initiatives and App.
| SAFETY
Complies with Health & Safety regulations while performing daily duties at all times.
Takes responsibility for reporting any hazard and follows up to ensure the execution of required actions.
Maintains a high level of personal hygiene, seeks feedback on the shortfall areas, and complies with the Grooming procedures.
| POSITION REQUIREMENTS | EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors or Master's degree in Nutrition Science, Health, or Diploma in Dietary Supplement Science.
Must be registered or accredited with a National nutrition governing body such as HAAD (Abu Dhabi) or DHA (Dubai), or BDA (British).
Experienced with advanced nutritional analysis software, analysing diet diaries, menus and developing bespoke nutrition interventions to treat nutritional deficiencies.
A minimum of eight years of progressive leadership experience in nutrition positions with clear career progression.
Proven supplement lines and product development experience.
A deep holistic understanding of the underlying causes of health issues within a diverse population.
Conducts continuously critical analysis and nutritional research.
Communicates scientifically, professionally, and truthfully using transparent sources, terminologies as well as techniques.
Working with athletes past exposure.
Must be willing to add value to enhance health, safety, and productivity as well as maintain TB to thrive on being a smoke-free workplace.
Exceptional fluency in industry management software and Microsoft Office | iOS system.
Experienced in being an integral point of contact for esteemed Bridge customers.
Able to guide, support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams as well as The Bridge members to ensure success.
