The Role
Responsible for ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of Group Technology Systems such as infrastructure, systems, networks, data centre, helpdesk and desktop support. Additionally, responsible for ensuring Group IT service delivery, challenge design and implementation of new IT systems and enhancements, as well as ensuring fit for purpose application to the current goals of the business. Supporting the Executive Management in strategic priorities and in aligning IT with the Group\xe2\x80\x99s strategy to ensure that the Technology capability is responsive to the needs of its growth objectives. Key Areas of the Role: - Develop and Execute the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Information Technology Strategy - Deliver World Class Technology Systems to the Business - Management Information - Business Alignment and Partner Engagement - Financial and Budgetary Control - Leading People - Managing IT application projects and application development and rollout

Requirements
Education: - A university degree in a technical subject is essential. - A master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a business systems-related subject area would be desirable. Professional Qualifications: - ITIL or a similar qualification associated with IT service in the corporate environment a plus. - Certifications from relevant technology vendors a plus (eg: IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Dell, VMWare) Experience: - At least 8-10 years in IT with a technical background with at least 4-6 years in a managerial capacity with a wide experience in the management of application systems and technical systems. Strong experience in team building and leadership skills in a service culture, are required. - Working knowledge and experience of operations and related problems. - Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks. - Knowledge and ability to apply quality control techniques,
