Mark Williams is currently working with a prestigious government entity with the mandate to lead the IT department ensuring the development of systems, infrastructure, and policies.

Role:

- Formulate the IT strategy in harmony with the overall organizational priorities and strategic goals to enhance operational efficiency
- Position the IT function as a crucial strategic catalyst for the business, providing the organization with the necessary systems and processes to adapt to technological advancements and changes
- Collaborate closely with senior management to efficiently implement IT infrastructure and business applications, catering to the growing requirements of business, sales, operations, and key functional areas
- Consolidate annual IT budget aligned with organizational plans
- Oversee ERP/CRM system implementation based on business requirements
- Develop IT support standards, procedures, and security frameworks
- Establish vendor relationships and negotiate IT service contracts
- Monitor IT compliance and security across business units
- Document business systems and user needs, proposing infrastructure setups
- Plan IT manpower in line with business objectives
- Cultivate a supportive environment for IT team growth and development
- Define goals and performance indicators, ensuring engagement and capability development
- Define IT framework, policies, and quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement in IT procedures to adapt to technological changes

Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Business Management (IT) or Engineering
- Core expertise in planning, designing and deploying IT/Systems strategies
- Project Management certifications like PMP are preferred
- 10 - 12 years\' experience (4 - 6 years\' managerial experience in leading or managing an IT function)
