Core Responsibilities STRATEGIC xe2x96xaa Participate in the strategy formulation exercise to outlining how Information Technology can be aligned to the objectives and strategy of SANADAK. xe2x96xaa Lead the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Information Technology function. xe2x96xaa Review the budget requirements of the overall Information Technology function, and accordingly participate in the development of the budget xe2x96xaa Ensure the development and implementation of the Information Technology policies, procedures, standards and guidelines and address instances of non-adherence. xe2x96xaa Manage third party agreements related to SANADAKs IT functionality and participate in regular reviews of contracts and proposals. OPERATIONAL IT Governance xe2x96xaa Oversee the status of IT projects during all phases (analysis, implementation, test, roll out) for large all projects and review project status reports. xe2x96xaa Oversee the development of projects plans and the relevant communication plans. xe2x96xaa Ensure the implementation of project management best practices as governed by PMO based project management framework including its process definition, templates and tools. IT Operations xe2x96xaa Direct SANADAK IT infrastructure, in terms of databases and provisions for data centers, provision of network devices and protocol standards. xe2x96xaa Monitor and review services to meet Service Level Agreements. xe2x96xaa Ensure prompt maintenance of hardware or software and sufficient systems capacity in order to prevent delay of operations of SANADAK. xe2x96xaa Review and approve the design and finalization of technical plans (system design, platforms and integration). xe2x96xaa Ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements. xe2x96xaa Ensure that SANADAK is always kept up-to-date with new technologies by analysing business needs and recommending hardware and software upgrades. 2 xe2x96xaa Make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure procurement and development efforts. xe2x96xaa Ensure ongoing support for issues faced with applications, network, hardware and connectivity. xe2x96xaa Ensure that employees are given the most comprehensive, effective and reliable IT services and support. xe2x96xaa Lead the development of infrastructure risk analysis and develop strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning. xe2x96xaa Oversee the development of contingency planning for disaster recovery in the event of security and technical breaches related to payment systems. xe2x96xaa Ensure the development of participant interface manuals and other technical standards issued by the individual payment systems. IT Applications xe2x96xaa Oversee the development and implementation of IT projects, in terms of testing, user acceptance and project documentation. xe2x96xaa Prepare budget estimates (timelines, cost, resources, development and testing environments) for solution development and deployment activities and ensure that necessary resources are available for each solution development and deployment. xe2x96xaa Oversee the planning of IT projects lifecycle deployment. xe2x96xaa Review, in conjunction with the respective department heads, the technology requirements to support SANADAK strategic and operational objectives. xe2x96xaa Guide and oversee implementation of appropriate technology solutions to satisfy the needs of SANADAK and other third parties connected to it for the purposes of payment systems and other systems provided by SANADAK. xe2x96xaa Ensure that all technology solutions are aligned with the industry leading practices and SANADAK policies. xe2x96xaa Manage a Service Level Agreement (SLA) framework for all IT solutions and projects. IT Security xe2x96xaa Plan, direct and manage the operation of information technology security systems. xe2x96xaa Oversee the development and implementation of IT security framework, both physical and electronic, for systems operated within SANADAK. xe2x96xaa Ensure systems available are reliable, secured, quality assured and that they perform to the satisfaction of SANADAK departments. xe2x96xaa Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, and archiving; and provide expert support when necessary. xe2x96xaa Monitor the performance of technical help desk in providing SANADAK employees with the required proficient support. PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT xe2x96xaa Provide leadership and direction to subordinates towards the achievement of goals and objectives. xe2x96xaa Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles. xe2x96xaa Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles. 3 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Threshold Qualifications xe2x96xaa Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology. Years & Nature of Experience xe2x96xaa 12 - 15 years experience, with at least 8 years strong experience in a similar role. xe2x96xaa 6+ years working experience in the UAE, with appropriate familiarity with the UAE market and regulations. xe2x96xaa Proficient in the Arabic and English languages.
