About the job Head of Information Technology

Our client is an investment vehicle based in Abu Dhabi, that deploys capital in smart and advanced mobility solutions. It aims to create a smart mobility platform by investing in and partnering with industry leaders around the world.

The Head of Information Technology (IT) will be accountable for the development of the IT strategy, architecture, policies and procedures to meet the company\'s current and future digital needs.

Responsibilities:-

• Develop lean IT architecture and master plan aligned with company strategy
• Create a cost-efficient IT strategy and roadmap
• Manage IT risk and participate in overall risk management
• Develop an IT capacity plan and optimize resources
• Oversee design, development, and deployment of core IT applications
• Implement and manage IT applications within acceptable standards
• Define standards and protocols for systems architecture and data exchange
• Lead development and maintenance of IT network
• Facilitate roll-out of new systems and technologies
• Ensure timely delivery of IT services and technical support
• Establish technical environments and operational standards
• Select new IT solutions and technology partners
• Ensure vendor performance within SLAs and maintain relationships
• Enforce policies for the protection of IT assets and information integrity
• Enable Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan

Education and Certifications:-

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Systems
• Engineering is preferred
• Relevant certifications: CRM development and deployment, IT standards, governance, quality
• management (CMMI), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)/Information
• Technology Service Management (ITSM) certifications are preferred
• Indicative years of relevant experience - 10 years
