Our client is an investments group that consolidates various Real Estate and Hospitality Assets based in the United Arab Emirates.The group also has strategic investments in businesses and entities across the MENA region, Europe, and the Americas.A well-diversified family office is looking to recruit a proactive and hands-on Head of IT that can direct and support the ICT function across all sub-sections of the Group's operations as it looks to consolidate the next phase of its planned growth.An experienced candidate with a strong track record of designing and implementing IT architecture, infrastructure, and applications to meet changing business requirements, is sought. A strong understanding of corporate governance and managing teams, including liaising with various Heads of Businesses is essential.With a direct reporting line to the CEO and working closely with the Key Management team at HQ, the candidate will provide advice, direct and influence the strategic goals as envisioned by the CEO and the Board of Directors.Key Result Accountabilities:.Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all ICT functions of the Group managing the Hospitality & Real Estate properties and the Group HQ. This includes the central Datacentre as well as infrastructure at the SBUs locations. Support and maintenance of existing ERP applications and investigate new solutions wherever required.Capable of analyzing requirements for changing business needs as envisioned by the Board and Management and recommends best fit and financially viable technical solutions.Monitor all software and associated hardware in place across the Group and ensure compliance with local and international industry regulations and quality standards.Monitor the functionality of all IT resources required for the Group's future growth and have appropriate plans in place.Identify sources of issues and troubleshoot assisting in timely resolution of all issues.Safeguard existing software and other applications present by creating, where required, and maintaining of highest standards for technical solutions.Manages and supervises tasks assigned to subordinate ICT Coordinators across the SBUs.Continuous review of existing ICT Infrastructure designs and outlines upgrade proposals for current and new property applications, where required.Reviews and approves all business requirements prior to recommending technical solutions on current and newly proposed systems.Overall responsibility for all hardware and software technical evaluations and maintaining vendor contracts, were present and monitors and evaluating performance.Is the liaison between users, operations, and developers/software vendors in areas of systems design, modifications, and/or troubleshooting.Performs ICT related administration, conducts interviews for and makes recommendations for new departmental hires, consultants, and/or replacement personnel.Present as the lead during the annual Budgeting exercise, in relation to ICT Assets.Any other related ad-hoc responsibilities, as and when they ariseRequirementsTo be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:Knowledge and Experience:.Extensive knowledge of key ICT operations databases, network systems, applications, and security.A working knowledge of Hospitality and Real Estate Property Management applications and their related risks - data handling and data risk management.8-10 years experience in a relevant ICT role, of which, at least 3 years in a similar leadership position.Bachelor's and/or Master's Engineering Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science.Additional industry-related and latest technology skills certifications, will be an added advantage.Proficient in English communication with sufficient capabilities to manage and lead a small team alongside connections with various user departments across multiple Strategic Business Units (SBUs)To view other vacancies we have,please check our website () and follow us on our social media accounts -///Disclaimer:Black Pearl will never ask for money or any form to charge our candidates just to process or consider their application for any of our available vacancies.
