Head of HR, Global Individual Health (GIH)

The Position

Reporting to the HR Director, Europe & Global Segments, and as a member of the GIH Senior Leadership Team (SLT), this is a senior HR business partner who will design and execute the people strategies and priorities for the business. In a matrixed organization, the role holder will work closely with the site HR teams and Centre of Excellence functions within HR including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Compensation & Benefit to deliver all-round effective HR management.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Design and execute the HR strategy for the GIH segment globally through data-driven insights and qualitative feedback.
Be responsible for the execution of the people elements of the GIH strategic plan by communicating their people\xe2\x80\x99s agenda and initiatives with site HR, and ensuring geographical execution is in line with the segment\xe2\x80\x99s direction.
Drive forward future of work initiatives particularly on workforce planning, capabilities building and innovations which would support the ambitious growth agenda of GIH.
Develop and implement HR programmes and practices. This includes organisation development, talent development, compensation and benefits programmes, performance management, diversity initiatives and employee engagement and wellbeing.
Support and provide counsel and coaching to people managers in the resolution of key staffing, development, compensation, performance management and employee relations issues.
Initiate, drive and participate in cross-functional and cross-business projects to support overall achievement of strategies for the business segment, the region and International Health.
Communicate, integrate and manage change initiatives for the segment and the region.
Drive engagement and retention strategy by reviewing and defining the employees\xe2\x80\x99 journey and experience.
Lead or involve in projects as and when required.
Any ad-hoc duties required by the business and the HR communities.

Excellent negotiation, influencing and persuasive skills.
Able to operate as a respected and influential member of the HR team with demonstrated ability in influencing, motivating, coaching and consulting.

Experience/Qualifications Required:
HR Business Partner experience in healthcare/ insurance industry, preferably in a Global business lines and a highly matrixed environment
Experience in other HR COE functions will be an advantage
European, Middle-East or multiple market HR exposure
Experience of leading projects across cross-functional groups and influencing multiple stakeholders
Graduate/ MBA and CIPD qualification is preferred.
