Purpose:
  • \xe2\x97\x8f As the Head of Growth, you will be responsible for leading the acquisition and retention strategies for GMG Sport. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding customer base, and maximizing customer lifetime value. You will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute data-driven growth initiatives. Your focus will be on driving customer acquisition, optimizing conversion rates, and implementing effective retention strategies.

Strategy and Planning:
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Develop and implement the overall growth strategy, encompassing customer acquisition, conversion optimization, and customer retention.
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Define and execute growth initiatives, campaigns, and experiments to drive revenue and increase market share.
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with key stakeholders to align growth objectives with the overall business strategy.
Customer Acquisition:
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Lead customer acquisition efforts, utilizing various channels such as digital advertising, SEO/SEM, social media, influencer marketing, and partnerships
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Drive quality traffic to our websites and apps
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Analyze and optimize acquisition funnels to increase conversion rates, reduce acquisition costs, and maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Monitor industry trends and identify new growth opportunities to expand the customer base.
Customer Retention and Loyalty
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Develop and implement customer retention strategies, including personalized email marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, referral programs, and customer segmentation.
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Build and drive upsell and cross sell strategies
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Analyze customer data and behavior to identify opportunities for increasing customer lifetime value and driving repeat purchases.
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Work closely with customer service and operations teams to enhance the post-purchase experience and ensure customer satisfaction.
Execution:
  • Execute marketing campaign on time for brick and mortar and ecommerce teams
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Utilize analytics tools and platforms to gather insights, measure campaign performance, and track key metrics such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLTV), retention rate, and churn rate.
  • \xe2\x97\x8f Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into growth performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Person Specific Requirements:

Base Requirement: 4+ years in a similar performance and growth role

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in managing multiple ecommerce brands and driving their P&L performance.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, eCRM, CDP, ecommerce technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute ecommerce strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and budget management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Prior experience in the retail industry or a similar consumer-focused industry is highly desirable.
Job-Specific Skills:
  • Experience in driving growth for ecommerce businesses with large catalogs and multiple brands
  • Arabic would be a plus
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce web and app platforms
  • Can do attitude and change mindset
  • Ability to motivate a team and increase quality and speed of execution
  • Customer obsessed with a drive towards excellence
  • Proven experience in leading acquisition and retention strategies for ecommerce businesses, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and tactics, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and influencer marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in driving customer acquisition, optimizing conversion rates, and implementing effective retention strategies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative growth initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate growth strategies and results to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving growth targets and driving measurable outcomes.
