The Company

Robert Half is a partnered with a global corporation looking to enhance their Finance function. The Head of Finance and IT will sit on the Executive Committee of the business and may be required to represent the business at board level. This is a regional role and reports into the VP MEA.

The scope of the role is to ensure that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with local regulations, accounting principles, and standards. The role requires a solid operational focus and strategic partnering across the region, to ensure that guidance and direction is provided for long term growth of the region.

• IT
• Analyze revenues, liabilities, credit conditions and other financial indicators to forecast it\'s short, medium and long-term cash flow position
• Evaluate and recommend investments, funding sources and other financial instruments that will meet these cash flow needs.
• Advise senior management on financial matters, on the potential impact of current and future laws and regulations, and on the operation of the organization.
• Provide technical expertise and advice on financial risks and opportunities to functional or operational area managers to support them to develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports and manage their financial responsibilities.
• Leading, coaching and developing the team to ensure that all the financial activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and accordingly to relevant regulations, laws and standards.
• Collaboration and relationship building with stakeholders across all regions. Specific focus on building and maintaining relationship and dialogue with headquarters in Brussels and Bridgestone Japan.
• Oversight of credit control, cash flow, investment management, tax, insurance, treasury, internal audit, budgeting and forecasting, and foreign exchange.

The Candidate

• Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar field.
• Qualified candidates - ACCA, CA, CPA, CIMA, CMA
• 8-10 years\' experience of operating in similar role with managing teams.
• Experience of fast paced, matrix & multinational environment.
• International country experience- candidates that have managed different regions- eg KSA, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco.
• Overseeing IT- emphasis on digitalization
• Excellent written and verbal English.
