Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to the executive team.
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
Manage cashflow strategies and banking relationships to optimize returns
Evaluate and manage financial aspects of new projects, including feasibility studies and funding requirements.
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and standards.
Oversee accounts payable, bookkeeping, and VAT filings.
Stay updated with local and international accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS, Corporate Tax).
Conduct regular financial audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Lead, mentor, and guide team members, creating a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Set performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.
Collaborate with other department heads to support overall company goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting. Certificates such as CPA and CMA is a plus.
Experience in Construction/Contracting is preferred.
10+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, with at least 6 years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft excel, and dashboard presentation.
Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
