We are seeking an experienced

Head of Engineering

to lead our development efforts, steer technical strategy and foster a culture of innovation and excellence with a

strong focus on AI-driven development leadership

. In this role you will play a critical role in defining and executing Reluna's technical roadmap. Leading a globally distributed team of engineers, you will drive the development of our platform, ensuring it remains scalable, secure, and high-performing.

AI-First Engineering Culture:

We actively integrate AI tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot and internal automation to accelerate development, reduce technical debt and enhance engineering workflows. You will lead the adoption and strategic use of these technologies across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI tools and technologies (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to enhance engineering workflows, increase development speed, and reduce technical debt. Define and implement the technical vision, ensuring alignment with business goals. Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance. Lead and mentor a distributed team of engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous learning. Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Optimize cloud infrastructure on

Azure

and

AWS

for security, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our platform through robust architectural decisions. Drive the adoption of best practices in engineering, including code reviews, CI/CD, and testing.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

10+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Technical Expertise:

Proven experience with our tech stack or similar technologies.

Leadership Skills:

Demonstrated ability to lead and grow high-performing engineering teams.

Strategic Vision:

Experience in defining and executing scalable, long-term technical strategies.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in production environments.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian, with a collaborative mindset.

Bonus Points For:

Experience in wealth management, fintech, or similar industries. Previous experience scaling engineering teams in a startup environment. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
