As a forward-thinking organisation, they are seeking an Engineering leader to bridge the gap between product development, technology, design, and data analytics to provide customers with an exceptional user experience. They are looking for a talented Head of Engineering who can lead their technical functions and effectively manage a team of professionals.

Role Summary:

As the Head of Engineering, you will play a crucial role in driving the technical vision and strategy of our client\'s company. You will oversee a team consisting of a a group of skilled developers, a product manager, a data scientist and a UI/UX manager. Your responsibilities will involve managing the technical architecture, ensuring seamless integration of platforms, and leveraging data to make informed decisions. You will collaborate closely with the product, design and data teams to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of professionals, including product managers, data scientists, UI/UX managers, and developers.

Develop and execute the technical vision and strategy in alignment with the company\'s goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge product development, technology, design, and data analytics.

Oversee the technical architecture and ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of the platforms.

Utilise data analytics to drive insights, inform decision-making, and enhance the user experience.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership role within an ecommerce app focused tech company, with a strong understanding of technical functions.

Solid understanding of technical architecture and the integration of platforms.

Experience managing teams consisting of product managers, data scientists, UI/UX managers, and developers.

Proficiency in data analytics and utilising data to drive insights and inform decision-making.

Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively bridge product, design, and technical teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
