Skills

  • 10+ Years Experience
  • Experienced in managing a team of 6+ including architects , engineers, designers, and modelers.
  • Experience detailing of multi-story steel buildings, preferable working with a reputable consultant or contractor.
  • Off-Site & modular construction experience preferred (POD manufacturing, prefab buildings, DfMA)
  • Experienced in international and regional design standards, building codes, and design practice including but not limited to DM, IBC, ICC, SBC, Trakhees, AISI, ACI/BS8110, AISC/BS5950, PCI 135, UBC, IBC, ASCE/SEI.
  • Experience in managing a design BIM and BIM360
  • Well versed in design development and execution of all design disciplines (Structural, MEP, Architectural)
  • Experienced in managing and developing a design utilizing Light gauge steel / cold formed steel
  • Experienced in managing and developing a design utilizing hot rolled steel systems
  • Experienced in managing and developing a design utilizing precast concrete
Direct Responsibilities
  • Considers creative solutions to job requirements that would reduce manpower requirements, cost, and time and would distinguish my client from other competitors.
  • Establishes strong partnership with good design consultant in order to use them in design and built projects.
  • Builds up confidence with consultant to facilitate submission
  • Interfaces with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure the quick approval of drawings compliant with the job requirements and contract
  • Oversees all the activities in the Engineering function and is responsible for the training and development of Engineering personnel.
  • Ensures development, review and improvement of his/her relevant division/department's process and procedures.
  • Accountability: Acts in accordance with the organizational and quality standards and displays commitment to deadlines and key deliverables. Takes responsibility for own actions and activities and discloses the results in a transparent manner.
  • Delegating: Assigns responsibilities and authority correctly to the right employees taking their interests, ambitions, development and competence into account. Keeps the stakeholders adequately informed about the delegated tasks and responsibilities.
