JOB PURPOSE:
  • To lead the establishment, development and management of digital sales and channel activation for the Consumer Banking Group.
  • The role is responsible for driving digital sales of products through monetizing the bank’s expanding digital product journeys and driving overall transformation of sales and services from physical to digital channels.
  • The role will work closely with digital products, data analytics, digital marketing and product teams driving inbound marketing to our digital channels and proactive hyper-personalized offers driving activation and engagement of products and services in digital.
  • The function will be responsible for establishing and implementing digital tools to support sales and activation driving continuous improvement to our digital experiences.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Develop and direct the implementation of an integrated digital sales strategy that combines all channels and technologies for consumer banking, in collaboration with the head of digital, head of product and head of marketing.
  • Implement and define the digital messaging and cross sell strategy to drive activation and usage of channels
  • Ensure that functional strategy and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission of the Group.
  • Manage the effective achievement of functional objectives through effective leadership and by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating team to maximise performance.
  • Oversee the consolidation and recommend the functional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of the digital channel functional policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
  • In collaboration with the Head of Mobile & Online, drive channel migration through development of new features, robust delivery infrastructure and effective marketing campaigns in order to maximise the use of the most efficient channel thus generating revenue and reducing cost to service.
  • Formulate Key Performance Indicators (KPls) and metrics for digital channels for personal banking, in order to assure a customer centric approach to digital delivery (including outbound contact centres).
  • In collaboration with the Head of Digital Marketing, implement and execute digital campaigns to deliver the sales targets across all products leveraging tools such as A/B testing, google firebase and digital marketing campaign frameworks such as Google AdWords, SEM and SEO.
  • Lead the channel migration team responsible for driving awareness and usage of digital across all internal stakeholders across the organization.
  • Identify areas of improvement in experience through digital sales journeys through tracking of customer experience the end to end.
  • Drive activation and usage of digital through flawlessly delivered personalized messaging
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risk, and expeditiously resolve project issues

Qualifications

  • 10+ years relevant experience in managing digital transformation solutions in the banking / financial services industry; Experience with design methodology and content creation is a must along with digital sales experience
  • You look to data to create engaging user experiences and help determine the implementation prioritization of various digital transformation solutions
  • You excel at communicating across various teams and partners (e.g., liaison between the digital and technical teams)
  • You have experience in driving sales and activation of digital solutions across a wide range of digital platforms
  • You have the ability to work well as part of a cross-functional team and lead across the organization at multiple levels
