, a growing interior fit-out contracting company based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a talented and driven

Head of Design Department

to lead its creative team. This position is ideal for someone with strong design experience, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences and innovative interiors.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the in-house design department Oversee the development and execution of design concepts for various commercial and residential fit-out projects Interact with clients to understand requirements and present design solutions Attend site meetings to ensure design execution aligns with plans Manage, mentor, and develop the design team Support business development through design input and client presentations Help the company meet annual revenue and project acquisition targets Oversee daily task management and ensure timely delivery of design packages

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent 5-10 years of experience in interior fit-out design, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Adobe Suite, and other design tools Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and current design trends Excellent leadership, communication, and client interaction skills UAE experience preferred Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
