Your role
Line Manager: Credit Director
Contribute to achievement of profitable and sustainable growth in the frame of Allianz Trade Group strategy through development and implementation of a proper BU credit underwriting strategy and a strong focus on customer centricity
The challenges
Attract new customers/prospects by quality of service and underwriting decisions
Build a trustee relationship with customers, brokers and any other intermediaries to improve customer porfolio profitability
Key responsibilities/What you do
Implement Allianz Trade Group strategy and action plans
Steer and coordinate BU Credit Underwriting activity
monitor decisions and services delivered to customers
assign specific operational objectives to teams
design guidelines to contribute to Allianz Trade Credit policy
Engage personally in management of selected top accounts
engage as leader in high level and critical meetings
participate to local and regional events involving policy holders, prospects and financial partners
Achieve support to Commercial teams
in steering customers\' loss ratio and retention target and proposing actions to ensure/restore profitability of portfolio
validate terms and conditions on Credit Underwriting for new products or review of existing policies
Represent BU Credit Underwriting function in workshops and projects involving other core functions
Engage personally in acquisition and management of top accounts, by regular meetings and contacts with customers and brokers
Key requirements/What you bring
Market knowledge:
Understanding in macroeconomic environemnt in Middle East region
Understanding in local regulations and credit policies
Extensive knowledge in key sectors and industries in Middle East region
Business expertise:
Finance background, MBA/CFA is a plus
Extensive experience in credit or corporate lending
Knowledge and experience in Allianz Trade underwriting quality standards
High level of commercial awareness and customer service
Interpersonal skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to hold visits and contacts, including high stake meetings
