Our client is a large alternative investment manager in the region. They are looking for a senior strategy leader from a private equity fund to drive corporate strategy across the entity.

The role

- Responsible for the comprehensive strategic planning and alignment across the business and provide deep insights across the global private equity landscape and the intricacies of GP strategy and structures
- Align or improve the fund\'s product offerings and fee structure based on industry analysis
- The role is pivotal for ensuring that the fund remains at the forefront of industry evolution, maximizing value for our shareholders, and investors, by ensuring cohesion across internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop, refine, and execute the overarching long term strategic vision for the private equity fund, keeping abreast of trends, opportunities, and threats in the market landscape
- Formulate corporate development strategies and identify potential future growth initiatives
- Fund Management Alignment: Analyze and strategically align the fund\'s cost structure and management fees, ensuring a balanced and competitive approach
- Internal Collaboration: Work across internal departments to establish, monitor, and link the fund\'s strategy with departmental KPIs and objectives, ensuring alignment and cohesive direction across the firm
- Industry Analysis: Maintain a pulse on the latest trends, opportunities, and shifts in the private equity landscape, ensuring our strategies remain agile, relevant, and forward-thinking
- Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly liaise with internal and external stakeholders, presenting insights, updates, and strategic recommendations that will guide the firm\'s future direction and decisions

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required
- Must have experience in corporate development or corporate strategy within a private equity fund/ alternative asset manager
- Minimum of 12 to 18 years of experience in the private equity sector, with a demonstrated track record in strategic planning/ or corporate development
- Must possess a comprehensive understanding of various GP strategies and deep knowledge of the evolving trends in the private equity landscape
