Joining our team, we are looking for Head of Cabin Crew & In-Flight Services Your Role The Head of Cabin Crew & In-Flight Services will report to the Nominated Person Flight Operations, and will be responsible for all Cabin Crew who are employed to operate on Beond aircraft as per Cabin services standards. You will:
- Ensure that the highest levels of safety are maintained by the Cabin Crew and that procedures stipulated in Beond Manuals are implemented by Cabin Crew whilst on duty.
- Manage the Publication and updating of the Cabin Crew Operations Manual.
- Manage the local base management teams and direct reports, ensuring that the management of the Cabin Crew under their responsibility is carried out in a professional and consistent manner and according to employment law at all bases under their responsibility.
- Coordinate with Flight Operations Support and Base Managers-Cabin Crew to identify the requirements of Cabin Crew recruits and Cabin Crew upgrades and notify the Nominated Person Flight Operations (NPFO).
- In liaison with the NPFO, Manage the recruitment of Cabin Crew, including recruitment process and targets.
- Establish standards for the promotion and development of Cabin Crew under the direct instruction of the NPFO.
- Maintain the overview of safety reports raised by the Cabin Crew and where necessary recommending remedial action to the necessary departments.
- Ensure that cabin service standards are met by the Cabin Crew and that customer satisfaction targets are achieved.
- Supervise and lead the Inflight Product and Services Development Associates, reporting their suggestions and concerns to the Commercial and Strategy Divisions.
- Assess and implement procedures/projects destined to affect the Cabin Crew under his responsibility.
- Ensure that information which affects Cabin Crew is communicated in a timely and efficient manner.
- Review, when necessary, the safety of the aircraft cabin installations, and to recommend, in cooperation with the NPFO, the necessary improvements and/or changes.
- Keep yourself up to date on cabin services and operations related developments.
- Prepare the annual budget for all Cabin Crew activities and ensure strict compliance to approved budgets.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports on Cabin related matters.
- Other relevant duties as directed by the NPFO.
- A degree or 10 or above years of relevant work experience in the airline or hospitality industry.
- Previous experience in Human Resources and/or legal-related.
- Sound knowledge of cabin crew operational environment and standards.
- Ability to inspire and build trust and respect among the crew community.
- Strong business acumen and judgment skills with self-motivation for continuous learning and improvement.
- Proven experience in driving high-performance standards and engagement with excellent people management skills.
- Strong capability to handle difficult conversations and coaching conversations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent command of written and spoken English.
- High energy, with an excellent work ethic with a can-do attitude and approach.
- Computer skills developed to a high standard (MS Suite) with excellent administration and organizational skills.
- Preferably Senior Cabin Crew Member, with extensive VIP, First/ Business class experience
- Preferably Cabin Crew Instructor experience
