Head of Architecture - Payments, Fintech, (Information Technology Architecture) - Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities

• Experienced Architect with extensive experience the payments industry
• Create business architecture with models that reflect our strategies and goals
• Define & maintain all design & architecture related standards for offerings issuing, acquiring, enterprise
• Define & maintain the strategy and roadmap for various Platforms exposed to Issuers, 3rd party partners, clients such as merchants FinTech\xe2\x80\x99s and banks for the purpose of On-boarding analytics
• Guidance and architecture consultancy for internal teams and clients the developing the existing Omni-channel offering by ensuring that solutions are at par with the industry latest trends
• Expand the adoption of Azure/AWS and other cloud technologies within the organization and maximize the efficiency of the current cloud usage
• Work on strategy to consolidate data services, core products, portals across the organization such as self-service on-boarding, self-service portals for issuance, acquiring and other service
• systems engineering, integration, infrastructure, operations, and support models exist currently with acquiring back-office vendors for improving the new features development turnaround time
• Responding to the rapid market demands by adapting the technology to suit the services catalogue
• Define roadmap for strategic initiatives implementation and get directly involved in the analysis, implementation and rolling out.
• Oversee complex projects starting from RFP\'s evaluation, solution architecture, proposal development and presentation

Experience & Background

• Understanding of various architecture frameworks LAF, RCDA, DoDAT, MODAF, TOGAF essential
• Awareness of PCI/DSS framework and its implementation
• 15 years of information technology experience with 7 years of payments/financial services experience and 2 to 3 years of technology architecture experience
• Financial services experience in Commercial Banking or similar with exposure to payments processing and technologies across the payment lifecycle, initiation through execution
• Knowledge and experience of Hardware, Financial Software, Middleware/Integration, Databases
• Solid understanding of essential building blocks of Third-Party Processing services
