Job Description

Lead the AD Airports Logistics section, overseeing Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) for accuracy, ensuring adequate inventory of materials and products, and defining policies and operational procedures to manage materials, project items, and storage utilization across all warehouses in line with ADAC's policies. Additionally, manage the delivery service performance of the third-party logistics provider for Warehouse & Logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Managerial - Strategic Planning

Prepare and communicate sectional objectives aligned with division/department strategic objectives and ADAC's OGSM. Manage execution of sectional objectives and propose KPIs for the section and employees. Develop optimal supply chain strategies for goods managed through AD Airports Logistics.

Budget Management

Develop and monitor sectional budget spend. Guide direct reports on budget optimization opportunities.

Corporate Performance Management

Oversee section performance according to the sectional plan. Collaborate with department head to identify performance improvement opportunities.

People Management

Identify training and development needs, emphasizing Emiratization. Ensure required staff availability and provide inputs to workforce planning. Provide constructive feedback to direct reports and performance input to department head.

Functional Responsibilities

Coordinate with end users to ensure high service support from Airports Logistics. Implement best practice supply chain methods to meet strategic goals. Lead inventory forecast development, including stock holding, min/max levels, and replenishment strategies. Oversee MRP accuracy and formulate procedures to reduce inventory setbacks. Ensure timely stock counts and investigate discrepancies. Approve Purchase Requisitions and internal material transfers. Maintain effective Inventory Management (IM) systems and review product master registers. Define policies for material, project item, and storage location management. Manage third-party logistics provider performance. Support warehouse layout planning and revamping. Oversee material quality control, audits, and adherence to standards. Coordinate material management for maximum efficiency. Manage stock scrapping, disposal, and acceptance certificates post-inspection. Perform other duties as requested.

Inbound/Outbound Operations

Manage inbound and outbound operations ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Support concessioners and commercial teams as primary logistics liaison. Maintain strong relationships with concessioners and stakeholders.

Fleet / Workshop Management

Oversee airport vehicle fleet operations, utilization, maintenance, and lifecycle management. Implement fleet cost reduction strategies, preventive maintenance, and fuel efficiency initiatives. Lead workshop team to ensure timely maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Drive workshop automation through digital tools. Monitor operational budgets for fleet and workshop functions.

Organizational - Governance

Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Follow HR, legal, risk, quality assurance, and ADAC frameworks. Participate in audits of established policies and procedures.

Management Reporting

Prepare periodic reports and provide inputs for divisional/departmental reporting. Recommend remedial actions for quality or compliance issues.

Change Management

Lead change management activities and ensure effective stakeholder communication.

Technology Management

Identify technology needs to drive automation and cost optimization.

Professional Development

Seek opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills. Participate in performance appraisals and act on feedback for development.

Education and Qualifications
