Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to lead the legal function of a diversified group headquartered in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have in-house legal leadership experience across group structures with multiple subsidiaries and a strong understanding of UAE laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all legal matters pertaining to the group and its subsidiaries across various sectors. Provide strategic counsel on contracts, compliance, litigation, M&A, and corporate governance. Ensure alignment with UAE corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory frameworks. Lead legal support for joint ventures, dispute resolution, and regulatory audits. Draft, negotiate, and review key legal documents and risk frameworks. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counsel when needed.

Requirements:

10-15 years of overall legal experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within a holding company or diversified group. Proven experience across multiple industries including construction, real estate, banking & finance, engineering, logistics, agriculture, and commodities. Strong command of UAE laws and regulatory compliance. In-house legal experience is mandatory; consultancy or law firm-only profiles will not be considered. Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is required.
