Core Responsibilities xe2x96xaa Develop, execute and manage finance strategy aligned to the overall SANADAK strategy and vision xe2x96xaa Lead the development and implementation of financial and accounting policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and address issues of non-adherence xe2x96xaa Work with executive leadership team to continuously identify challenges and opportunities, develop solutions and define and execute appropriate financial strategies to support them xe2x96xaa Develop SANADAK budgeting policies and processes and ensure that budgeting activities are embedded in the departments plans and activities xe2x96xaa Oversee the preparation, management and reporting of periodic budgets xe2x96xaa Present financial statistics and insights to the Board of Directors. xe2x96xaa Develop and implement KPIs to continuously evaluate and measure the effectiveness of Finance departments activities xe2x96xaa Ensure that investment transactions are in line with the accounting system and reserve management policy xe2x96xaa Ensure that business risk controls related to investment transactions have been appropriately and effectively maintained, reviewed and implemented xe2x96xaa Oversee that ongoing accounting procedures related to reserve management transactions are in line with approved accounting policies and procedures xe2x96xaa Oversee the funding framework. Regularly review and ensure all levies and fees imposed on Licensed Financial Institutions and Insurance Companies are sufficient to fund SANADAK operations. xe2x96xaa Participate in annual and interim audits xe2x96xaa Lead the development of timely and accurate financial management and statistical reports for SANADAK based on standard, statutory regulations and ad hoc requirements xe2x96xaa Monitor on a regular basis the proper maintenance of accounting records and adequate accounting control and services xe2x96xaa Ensure that accurate and comprehensive periodic management reports have been delivered for appropriate financial reporting xe2x96xaa Keep abreast with international and local financial / accounting principles, regulations, practices, local laws and regulations xe2x96xaa Stay up-to-date with industry innovation and technology in the financial sector and use the appropriate ones to enhance SANADAK communication internally and externally 2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Threshold Qualifications xe2x96xaa Bachelor or Master Degree preferably in Accounting / Finance xe2x96xaa Professional accounting / finance qualification is an advantage (CPA, ACCA) xe2x96xaa Proficient in the Arabic and English Languages Years & Nature of Experience xe2x96xaa 12+ years of experience with at least 8+ years of strong experience in a similar role xe2x96xaa 8+ years working experience in the UAE, with appropriate familiarity with the UAE market and regulations KEY INTERACTIONS Internal External xe2x96xaa All the departments for matters pertaining to financial control such as budgets, expenses, cost allocations, financial transactions and reporting xe2x96xaa Auditors xe2x96xaa Vendors / Suppliers of Goods and Services xe2x96xaa Banks and Financial Institutions Employees Signature Name Signature Department Heads Signature Name Signature Human Capitals Signature Name Signature xe2x96xaa Providing sound financial assistance and information to management in order for it to make important business decisions xe2x96xaa Lead by example and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher-level roles xe2x96xaa Perform any other duties outside the scope as and when required
