. The ideal candidate will lead kitchen operations, develop innovative menus, ensure food quality and hygiene, and manage the kitchen staff efficiently. The Head Chef will play a key role in maintaining the restaurant's culinary reputation while bringing creativity and authenticity to every dish.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Design and update menus that reflect Italian, Egyptian, and broader Arabic culinary traditions.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff.
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely and consistent manner.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control kitchen costs.
Enforce hygiene and safety standards in accordance with local health regulations.
Collaborate with restaurant management on seasonal menu changes, special events, and promotions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a
Head Chef
or
Executive Chef
, preferably in a multicultural or Mediterranean kitchen.
Formal culinary training or equivalent experience.
Deep knowledge and hands-on expertise in:
Arabic cuisine
Egyptian traditional dishes
Italian cuisine
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Good understanding of food cost control and kitchen budgeting.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in fine dining or high-volume kitchens.
Menu engineering and food cost analysis.
Creativity in dish development and presentation.
