Job Summary:
The Head Bartender is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operations, ensuring exceptional service, crafting high-quality cocktails, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere. This role requires strong leadership, extensive bartending knowledge, and the ability to manage inventory, staff, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bar Operations & Management:
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Develop and update drink menus, including signature cocktails, classics, and seasonal offerings.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and proper equipment functionality.
- Train, mentor, and supervise bartenders and barbacks.
- Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels based on business needs.
- Foster a positive work environment and resolve staff conflicts when necessary.
- Provide outstanding customer service, engaging with guests and ensuring satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a welcoming and lively bar atmosphere.
- Manage liquor, beer, wine, and supply inventory, placing orders as needed.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Control costs by minimizing waste and optimizing pour accuracy.
