We are looking for an experienced and reliable Hardware Shop Manager to oversee daily operations of our hardware store, ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory, and lead the sales team to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the hardware shop
Supervise and motivate sales staff
Monitor inventory, stock levels, and place orders with suppliers
Ensure proper display and organization of products
Maintain accurate sales and expense records
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports
Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies
Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and negotiate prices
Requirements:
Previous experience in hardware retail or related field (preferred)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of hardware tools, materials, and building supplies
Good communication and customer service skills
Basic accounting and record-keeping knowledge
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Proficiency in MS Office or POS systems
