We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Hair Transplant Technician

to join our clinical team. In this role, you will support surgeons during hair restoration procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through technical precision and compassionate care. This is a great opportunity for candidates with a background in medical or surgical assistance who are looking to specialize in hair transplantation.

Key Responsibilities:

Preoperative Preparation:

Set up the operating room with all necessary tools and sterile supplies. Assist in preparing patients, including providing basic information about the procedure. Perform scalp preparation and surgical site marking under the surgeon's direction.

Surgical Assistance:

Support the surgeon during hair transplant procedures, including FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) and FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation). Extract, dissect, and organize hair grafts using a microscope with high precision. Implant grafts according to the surgeon's design and placement plan. Monitor graft quality and ensure proper handling throughout the procedure.

Postoperative Care:

Provide patients with clear, detailed aftercare instructions. Maintain accurate procedural records, including graft count and implantation sites. Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.

Patient Support:

Ensure patient comfort and reassurance throughout the procedure. Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any signs of discomfort or distress.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the surgical and clinical team to ensure a smooth, safe workflow. Communicate effectively with staff to anticipate procedural needs and maintain efficiency.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience or formal training in FUE and FUT techniques. Comfortable working with surgical tools and microscopes.

Attention to Detail:

Exceptional accuracy in handling and implanting grafts.

Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients. Strong team player with effective collaboration skills.

Education & Certification:

Certification in a medical or technical field such as medical assisting or nursing. Specialized training in hair transplantation required (MOH certification mandatory).

Experience:

Previous experience in a clinical or surgical setting is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain focus during long procedures.
