Gym Caretaker

Job Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe environment for users and protect the gym from property damage. Monitor the use of equipment. Report any equipment defects to supervisor. Prepare basics pre-workout, protein shakes and any supplements required. Carry out routine maintenance of equipment and ensure they are safe to use. Ensure equipment is returned to its rightful place. Ensure equipment does not leave the facility and report any missing equipment. Regularly replenish supplies in facility, e.g., water, towels, energy drinks, etc. Ensure all the weights are safely and appropriately placed and properly used. Clean equipment with disinfectant as and when required. Carry out any related activities upon request by Supervisor. Ensure all electrical appliances are switched off if needed at the conclusion of gym session. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
o Secondary education is required.
o At least 2 years of working experience in a recreational, physical fitness and customer service.
o Training in fitness, logistical support, and/or health related matters.
o First Aid Accreditation is an advantage.
o Experience in assembly of gym equipment.
o Excellent interpersonal skills.
o Effective communication skills.
o Organisation skills.
o Fluent English. Arabic is a plus.
o MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is a plus.
