Guest Relations Officer (Emiratization Program)



Front Office, Shangri-La Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi



We have a great opportunity for a Guest Relations Officer under the Emiratization Program. The successful applicant will attend to our Shangri-La Circle and VIP guests, making sure that all their needs are met whilst staying at the hotel.

What will you do?



Maintain a high standard of service and professionalism.

Be the ambassador for the hotel, point of contact for all Shangri-La Circle members, VIP's and Special Attention Guest's.

Work with hotel colleagues to keep the brand excellent service standards.

Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues/service manager to find solutions.

Remain aware of all fire prevention/safety regulations and ensure that they are adhered to.

Remain aware of all activities/goings-on within the complex.

Be a focal point for what is happening within Abu-Dhabi, including events, restaurants, and family functions.

The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style. To meet the needs of long-staying guests, the hotel offers 161 fully furnished spacious serviced apartments ranging from studios to four-bedroom units. The hotel is located within the acclaimed Qaryat Al Beri complex, on a one kilometre stretch of private beach overlooking the strait that separates Abu Dhabi Island from the mainland. The hotel is conveniently located next to a souk, offering a variety of shops under one roof. It is only a ten-minute drive from the city's international airport, five minutes from the golf course and the Convention Centre, and 15 minutes from the Corniche and the city centre.
