Drive new sales activity in Upstream oilfield to achieve growth targets as directed by the Growth Sales Manager (GSM)
Lead & close opportunities assigned by the GSM working with all the appropriate resources e.g. Product Applications/Managers, CommOps, Technical Marketing & Area Sales teams.
Maintain concise update of sales opportunity pipeline activity and data in SFDC CRM tool (Salesforce.com).
Ensure all opportunity commercial deals meet the Company profitability expectations and service level agreements are in-line with Area resource capability.
Partner with Account Management personnel to ensure a smooth start-up and implementation of new business contracts.
Accurately forecast to the Account/Area manager team
Support field team in conducting field bottle and jar testing to select cost effective phase separation products to suit customer challenges.
Support upstream oilfield business by writing treatment proposals, support tenders and requests for quotations, visit customer sites, conduct process surveys, field trials and optimize treatment with relevant operational parameters.
Work with a global product managers team to expand regional offerings, bridge gaps and enhance capabilities.
Work closely with the commercial team to support existing and new business.
Work closely with regional sales leaders and global product management to introduce and try cost-effective solutions at customer sites.
Initiate lab product selection, testing and evaluations to support product recommendations to meet customer needs
Assist on troubleshooting and advice on trial protocols, when needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
10-15years oilfield experience and chemical treatments.
. degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, Biology or Chemistry. * Valid driving license, Self-accountability for training and growth
Comfortable selling and presenting to the highest levels within the Customer operation.
Strong new business sense with effective consultative capability able to leverage client relationships and influence decision criteria
Strong technical background
Ability to understand customers\' needs and concerns
Knowledge of business trends in the industry and market is preferred
