Group PRO Head
Roles and Responsibilities:
o? ?Act as the primary liaison between the company and government departments (Labor, Transport, Municipality, etc.).
o? ?Ensure timely processing and renewal of all licenses, permits, and documentation related to logistics operations.
o? ?Handle visa processing, labor cards, and any other employee-related documentation (if applicable).
o? ?Ensure company operations comply with local laws and regulatory frameworks.
o? ?Manage end-to-end employee accommodation, including sourcing, leasing, and maintenance of housing facilities.
o? ?Coordinate with vendors, landlords, and facility managers to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained accommodations.
o? ?Maintain updated records of accommodation allocations, contracts, and capacity planning.
o? ?Address employee concerns related to housing and escalate when needed.
o? ?Support onboarding and induction processes by ensuring smooth transition and housing arrangements for new joiners.
o? ?Be the point of contact for employee welfare queries related to housing, transportation documentation, and basic amenities.
o? ?Conduct regular inspections of employee accommodations and take corrective actions when needed.
o? ?Maintain accurate records of all PRO-related transactions including government filings, permits, and leases.
o? ?Ensure documentation related to employees (e.g., ID proofs, address, contract renewals) is up-to-date and compliant.
o? ?Keep track of expiry dates for all licenses and contracts and renew them proactively.
o? ?Liaise with third-party vendors for accommodation, travel, and facility maintenance services.
o? ?Negotiate contracts with housing and service providers to ensure cost-effective and quality arrangements.
o? ?Coordinate with HR, Admin, and Finance departments for smooth disbursement of rent, deposits, and bills.
o? ?Address and resolve employee issues related to accommodation, municipal/legal concerns, or government documentation.
o? ?Act swiftly in case of emergencies involving staff housing, legal queries, or government inspections.
o? ?Provide regular reports to management on accommodation utilization, documentation status, and cost tracking.
o? ?Keep management informed of any legal or compliance risks related to employee welfare or company operations.
Key Skills Required:
o? ?Strong knowledge of government procedures and labor compliance related to logistics and manpower.
o? ?Experience in handling accommodation for large teams (drivers, delivery staff, warehouse personnel, etc.).
o? ?Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
o? ?Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations diplomatically.
o? ?Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Preferred Background:
o? ?Experience in logistics, transportation, or manpower sector.
o? ?Prior experience in facility management or employee welfare administration.
o? ?Fluency in local language and familiarity with regional regulatory bodies.
